
Cain was born December 13, 1945 in Memphis, Tennessee, but grew up in Atlanta. Cain earned his B.A. from Morehouse College and his M.S. from Purdue University. After college he worked as a computer systems analyst for Coca-Cola in 1971 for 6 years before taking a job with Pillsbury where he worked his way up to V.P. of the company in only a few years. Cain had a knack for turning dying businesses into profitable ones and revived Burger King in the Philadelphia area and then Godfather's Pizza on a national level. He was named CEO of the National Restaurant Association. Cain currently hosts "The Herman Cain Show" in Atlanta. He is running for President in 2012.
