Wrights was born June 8, 1958 in North Carolina. After graduating high school he served in the U.S. Air Force until he was honorably discharged in 1981. He then earned a bachelor's from Willmar College. Following school Wrights helped found a number of online newspapers and forums including Rational Review News Digest, Choice Channel for the International Society for Individual Liberty and LibertyForAll.net. His political career began in 2000 when he became Chair of the Libertarian Party of Forsyth County, North Carolina. He currently holds other Libertarian party leadership positions. Wrights was Mary Ruwart's campaign manager for President. Wrights is running for President in 2012.
