Huckabee was born in Hope, AR. in 1955. He attended Ouachita Baptist University as well as Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, TX. Huckabee has worked in the media throughout his life including a radio job in Christian Broadcasting, hosting a TV show “Positive Alternatives” as well as working as a Pastor in several churches. Huckabee entered politics in 1992, losing the Arkansas Senator race. Eventually, Huckabee would take a unique path to Governor in 1996, the beneficiary of scandals, retirements and new opportunities from his opponents. Hukabee was re-elected twice and ran for President in 2008, but failed to earn the Republican bid. Huckabee currently works various media positions including host of the Fox News show “Huckabee.”
